Brisbane City Football Club to receive Federal Government Funding.

 In News, Uncategorized

Trevor Evans MP, Federal Member for Brisbane, has announced that the Federal Government will provide $415,478 in funding for the upgrade of facilities at Brisbane City FC.

The new funding will allow our club to better accommodate the ever-growing female game, delivering designated change rooms, cubicle showers, baby facilities, referees rooms and upgraded toilets.

Evans believes this will be a great asset to the local community, “This funding is a huge boost for the local community and will now make this long planned project by Brisbane City Football Club a reality.”

David Asnicar, Director of Brisbane City FC believes, “All of us at City should be very excited by this long awaited investment announcement.”

“We thank Mr Evans for his support and investment into not only our club, but Football as Australia’s largest participation sport. The growth of our game overall and the explosion in women’s participation in Football means that this funding will provide a massive boost to our female players and allow City to accommodate the demand for female football services”
