Marcio Ribeiro joins City coaching team for holiday camps

Brisbane City are excited to announce that Marcio Ribeiro will be joining our coaching team for the holiday skills clinic in December.

A former professional player from Brazil, Marcio will be familiar to a number of our boys as a hugely popular and qualified FFA Futsal Coach (License and Certificate).

Marcio has played professionally for S.E. Palmeiras as well as a host of other professional teams. During his career he played against some of the biggest names in world football, such as Ronaldinho Gaucho and Kaka.

Marcio also holds a 4-year Bachelor degree in Fitness (Physical Education) and has an extensive experience as a futsal coach in Australia (Gold Coast FC and South Brisbane FC).

Brisbane City Football Club’s December Skills School Holiday Camp is open to boys and girls of all skill abilities aged between 6 – 13 years of age.

The clinics will be a fantastic chance for players to develop and enhance their football skills, tricks and techniques in a positive, fun and safe environment.

Players of all clubs and school teams are welcome to attend.

The clinics are full of exciting football games, technical exercises, competitions and small sided matches/tournaments, run by our Youth & Academy Football Director – David Minnis.

The camp will take place on the 11th, 12th, 13th of December from 10am-3pm at the Commercial Hockey Club Fields, Finsbury Street, Wilston, just opposite our Mark Street Training Facility.
