( Under 8 - Under 12 )

Brisbane City FC offers its players and their families a culture and football standards that are envied by most Clubs in Australia. The quality of our home grounds, CTM Stadium, Mark & Ruby St fields and the offerings of Club Membership are the result of significant investment from our Sponsors and Volunteers. Playing at Brisbane City FC gives your child the benefit of state of the art coaching, superior training facilities, modern Canteen and Club House facilities, as well as a fresh atmosphere and warm, family friendly, club culture.

At the end of the day we exist to play great football. Brisbane City FC has a proven track record over the years, of producing high quality players that are nurtured professionally to reach their football potential and we provide a proven pathway to the higher leagues.

Our most recent success in the 2016 National Premier League has led to many players being offered positions in State teams and we have a proud history of A League and national Socceroo players. Just how well all our players are developed, is evident from recent State trials where no less than 5 U13 NPL players and a convincing 8 U14 NPL players were all selected to represent Queensland in their respective State Teams.  The majority of our NPL representatives have come up from the ranks of our Academy program.

Our Junior Academy Program includes one team from each age group ranging from Under 8 through to U11 and now proudly our Girls Academy Program in the Under 8, Under 10 & Under 12 aged groups.  This program is suited to those players who are demonstrating the desire to learn the necessary skills to progress towards the higher levels of the junior game and show the ability required for advanced levels of coaching.
The Academys program give players the opportunity to train in the best environment with the best qualified coaches who work to a specific and structured coaching curriculum with proven results.

Our BCFC player Academy commitments for 2017 will be 3 nights per week training (schedule to be advised in early 2017), game day on Saturday, plus additional training fixtures organised by the Academy Director throughout 2017. Players will also be asked to attend functions/NPL game days throughout the season.

Once you’ve paid your deposit, we would like to invite you and your son to attend our Junior Academy Information Evening which will be held in early 2017. Further details will be sent by the Academy Director nearer the time.

It is important that you attend this information evening as it will provide you with all vital information you will need for the 2017 season.

Training for all Academy groups (u8s-u12s) will commence from week beginning 23rd January 2017.

Times and Location to be advised.

Pre-season friendly matches may be arranged for January 2017 with official games commencing end Feb / early March.

The acceptance of this offer is a commitment to the club, team and fellow players, with dedication to your chosen sport and respect to all players (Brisbane City FC and opponents) to team coaches / club official’s and match officials.

You will need to have a willingness to learn and improve all facets of your individual technical and tactical development and understand that our playing culture is “Performance” driven (How we play) and not simply “Results Orientated” (not simply, Did we win?).

To achieve this all players need to be able to commit to the training regime and when there are times where this becomes difficult, discuss this at the earliest opportunity with the Academy Director.

Injury prevention and injury management are key concerns for players, the early injuries are detected the better the chance of healthy and permanent recovery. Please assist us by making use of the sports triage service and working with the necessary health professionals.
More information will be provided at the player induction in November 2016.
